R&D funding for the environmental sector

Enterprise Europe Network South West and Enterprise Europe Network Wales are joining forces to hold an event on available R&D funding for the environmental sector.

The event will provide an overview of upcoming collaborative R&D funding opportunities for the environmental sector, in particular via the Eco Innovation, FP7, Technology Strategy Board and Eurostars funding routes. Attendees will be given advanced notification of call contents, details of support available from the Enterprise Europe Network and have the opportunity to meet the regional and national support teams. There will also be opportunities to network with potential project partners and discuss project ideas with experts during one-to-one sessions.

Kenny Legg, R&D Funding Adviser for Enterprise Europe Network South West highlights the crucial nature of these events: “We are delighted that we can share our knowledge of EU funding initiatives and provide attendees with advanced notification of call contents. They also help support the development of environmental technologies and services,” he states.

The Enterprise Europe Network has over 400 offices across Europe and we are thrilled to be working with our colleagues in Wales to raise awareness of these schemes to businesses across Wales and the South West.

The event is taking place in Cardiff from 9.30 – 3pm at the Welsh School of Architecture, Bute Building, King Edward 7th Avenue, CF10 3NB
